PROGRAM OVERVIEW
PLAYER BENEFITS
Age:
U11 (9-11 years old)
The Elite Shooting, Scoring and Puck Control Semi Private Program is designed specifically around improving your shot. Work on everything from wrist shots to backhands, stationary shooting to shooting in motion.
High Instructor to Player Ratio (1:7)
Program Description
- Emphasis on the critical importance of hand speed when it comes to shooting accurately and quickly
- Consistent coaching on players' stickhandling and shooting
- Training on manipulating the release
- Identifying where to shoot and why
- Learning about the different ways to release the puck
Program Coordinator
Coaching will be undertaken by Director of Hockey Operations Rob Schremp. Rob is an American professional ice hockey center who was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round, 25th overall, of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Throughout his career, he has played for the Oilers, New York Islanders, and Atlanta Thrashers in the NHL.
Program Prerequisites
- Minimum 3 years of hockey experience
- Minimum 3 years of skating experience
Priority will be given to U11 RBC Lions Team players and/or U11 Island League players.
Program Aim
This Elite Program is specifically tailored for high-level players looking to enhance their skills, coordination, stickhandling and shooting abilities. The program includes a series of advanced drills and techniques, which are designed to challenge and push elite players to their limits, improving their speed, agility, and overall performance on the ice. With a strong focus on quick hand movements, precise stickhandling and shooting in stride, the Elite Program is designed to take players’ skills to the next level.

Nine hours of on-ice training time per player.

- Junior Tigers programs are designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and programs. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
- There are no restrictions on a participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

SPECIAL NOTE:
The Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to the above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.
Fee: HKD 7,488
- Program limited to 10 players
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens January 19, 2024
