LEAGUE OVERVIEW
PLAYER BENEFITS

Age:
U16 (2009, 2010, 2011)
An elite development league for Hong Kong players to develop both team and individual skills through game play against adults in a fun environment.

High Instructor to Player Ratio (1:7)

Program Description
- 3 x 20 minute run time periods
- Balanced teams
- Fun environment for players to learn the game and grow their skills
- Same coaches throughout the season for consistency

Program Coordinators
Our Program Coordinators are experienced CIHL, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and Junior Hockey players interning in Hong Kong, who all have extensive coaching experience as well.

Program Prerequisites
- Minimum 3 years of hockey experience
- Minimum 5 years of skating experience
- Passion for hockey
- Above average skill set
- Players not suitable for League will be refunded registration fee or offered alternative playing options
- Must be registered in the ENL or U15 Elite National Program

Parent Coordinator
A parent coordinator will be designated for each program and be at the rink during games. Parent coordinators will assist Junior Tigers management with off-ice operations.

League Aim
- Develop advanced game tactics (forechecking, defensive zones, special teams)
- Accelerate the development of hockey skills
- Simulate North American hockey ecosystem
- Have fun and enhance passion for hockey as a young adult
- Develop full contact and battling hockey skills

League Includes
- 7 nights of hockey in Discovery Bay Ice Rink

Format
- Maximum number of participants per team — 15 players, 1 goalie
- These are skill based teams and Junior Tigers management reserve the right to move players between teams to ensure fairness

Structure
- Competitive 2 team league
- 3 x 20 minute running time periods
- Overtime
- 2 minute break between periods

Each player will receive a complimentary Junior Tigers Water Bottle

More Hockey, More Fun!
- Junior Tigers programs are designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and programs. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
- There are no restrictions on a participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various programs.

Skills
Junior Tigers leagues focus on teamwork and team play, while continuing to develop players’ individual skills.

SPECIAL NOTE:
The Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to the above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.

Fee: HKD 4,988
- Program limited to 10 players
- By invitation only
- 5% sibling OR returning player discount per player per program
- Maximum discount of 5% per player per program
- Registration officially opens March 1, 2025

- We are unable to offer a refund or credit due to non-participation.
- Registration is first come, first served, with priority given to current Junior Tigers participants.
- Programs will not run during Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter periods.
- Registration officially opens March 1, 2025.

All of our hockey programs require full equipment to be provided by the parent/guardian.
